💔 Actor Mukul Dev Passes Away at 54 – A Shocking Loss to Indian Cinema
The Indian film and television industry is mourning the untimely demise of actor Mukul Dev, who passed away on May 23 in Delhi at the age of 54. Known for his versatility, warm presence, and humility, Mukul’s sudden passing has left fans and colleagues heartbroken.
Born in Delhi into a disciplined Punjabi family, Mukul initially trained as a pilot but followed his passion into acting. He made his television debut with the serial Mumkin and his Bollywood debut in 1996’s Dastak opposite Sushmita Sen, where he played the role of ACP Rohit Malhotra. Over the years, he wowed audiences in films like Qila, Wajood, Yamla Pagla Deewana, and Punjabi hits like Shareek and Saka.

Mukul Dev was not just a talented actor – he was a devoted husband to Shilpa and a loving father to his daughter Siya. He also hosted the first season of Fear Factor India and was known for lending his voice to Hindi dubs of international films.
He had recently wrapped up shooting for Son of Sardaar 2, reuniting with Ajay Devgn and Vindu Dara Singh. The film, now set to release on July 25, will be remembered as one of his final performances.
